Kashmir-Jammu Family Tour

DAY 1

₹ Arrival in Srinagar

After you arrive in the heart of Jammu and Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced guides and representatives. After the meeting, you will be checked-in either at a hotel or in an exotic houseboat, where you unwind yourself and get freshened up for a leisurely day. Post this, take a walk around the scenic Boulevard Road, which lies along the magnificent Dal Lake and is known for offering the most amazing views of the Zabarwan Mountain Ranges. While enjoying the walk, you can also take a 2 hours Shikara ride in the Dal Lake and revel on its immaculate beauty. By the end of the day and before it gets dark, you will guided back to the hotel or houseboat for your dinner and overnight stay

DAY 2

₹ Sonmarg Excursion (Drive: 100 km / 3 Hours)

: In the morning, after you are done with your breakfast, get prepared for an exciting drive to Sonmarg or Kashmir’s ‘Meadow of Gold’. Located at a graceful height of 9,000 ft., this gorgeous hill station is around 100 km from Srinagar and can be reached with 3-hours’ drive. Arriving in Sonmarg, explore and discover the alluring charm of the Sindh Valley. Walk through the bright and colourful meadows, indulge in nature photography and visit some of the important tourist spots within the hill station. By the latter part of the day, you can take an exciting pony ride to the enchanting Thajiwas Glacier and witness its magical beauty. Completing the Sonmarg exploration, you will be driven back to Srinagar; dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel/houseboat.

DAY 3

₹ Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km / 2-3 Hours)

After today’s delicious breakfast in the hotel/houseboat, embrace yourself for another scenic drive through the lofty mountains and snow-covered peaks of Srinagar. Today’s drive of around 2-3 hours will take you to the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ or Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. Located around 2,730m above the sea level, Gulmarg is one of the best skiing destinations in India and is known for its colourful meadows. While in this hill station, you can also find the highest golf course (18-holes) in the world; also during the drive, you can feast on fascinating views of the Nanga Parvat. After you arrive in Gulamrg, take a short trek; around 3-4 hours, to Khilangmarg. With this trek, you will get introduced to the picturesque beauty of this quaint hill station and its surrounding; during the day, you can also enjoy some of the enthralling mountain rides. With the completion of all the activities, check-in into a hotel and after enjoying your dinner, take a deep slumber.

DAY 4

₹ Drive from Gulmarg to Pahalgam (140 km / 4-5 Hours)

Post today’s breakfast, check-out from the hotel and take another exciting drive from Gulmarg to Pahalgam. Also known as the ‘Valley of the Shepherds’, this magnificent hill station of Jammu and Kashmir boasts of scenic beauty and charm; on your way, you will be taken to the lush Saffron fields. Arriving in Pahalgam, you will get an opportunity to visit the Avantipura Ruins and the Anantnag Sulpher Springs. Following this visit, check in into a hotel and call it your first day in Pahalgam; dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

DAY 5

₹ Pahalgam Exploration

After having breakfast in the hotel, you will get an option to visit the magnificent rocky valleys of Chandanwadi, the Snow Point, which is around 14km from Pahalgam and a lively pony ride as well. However, these activities can only be arranged at an additional cost! After these visits, you will be driven back to the hotel, where you will be free to enjoy the day within the hotel premises. During the latter part of the day, you can take a leisurely walk around the verdant pine forests alongside the Lidder River and discover the appeal of Pahalgam’s countryside. By evening, return to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay .

DAY 6

₹ Drive from Pahalgam to Jammu (300 km / 7-8 Hours)

Enjoy the morning views of Pahalgam while enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the most exciting drive of this tour. Though the drive for the day will be a longer one, the enchanting beauty along the route to Jammu will keep you engulfed and engrossed with never-ending fun and excitement. Arriving in Jammu, check-in into a hotel and take out some time for relaxation. Post this, get started with a scenic sightseeing tour of the city along with a visit to the sacred Raghunath Temple, Har Ki Pauri Temple and Kali Mata Temple. Completing these visits, return to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7

₹ Departure from Jammu

As you wake up today morning, enjoy your last breakfast in the scenic vistas of Jammu and after packing up your bags, get prepared to check-out from the hotel. Post this, you will be dropped either at the Jammu Airport or at the Jammu Railway Station, from where you can proceed to your next destination or home.
